October 30, 2008 - Spring Tour!
Celtic Woman has posted the dates and locations for their spring 2009 US tour! This promises to be their most ambitious tour yet, beginning February 11 in Evansville, IN, and extending all the way out to July 2 at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO! The 2008 spring tour dates and venues are now listed on the CW site. The tour kicks off on February 14 at the Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas, and concludes May 18 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. There are 65 concerts scheduled. You may have noticed that our original image gallery was pretty sparse. We launched our new site with a contest. Our plan was to populate the gallery with original art works; banners, avatars, desktop wallpapers, etc. We planned to award one free copy of the Celtic Woman Christmas Celebration DVD to the artist who submitted the best graphic.
Well, our plan was more successful than we expected. It was impossible to select one, so we're going to name four co-winners! Jeff (JRRacing64), Siobhan, Hannah and Scott will each receive a copy of the DVD. (See our Gallery page for the winning entries.) We'd like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the talented individuals who submitted entries, and encourage you all to continue sending new additions to our gallery. |

Happy Halloween! I was advised this morning that CW is planning a new concert taping next summer! It will probably occur in August, but there are NO details yet - no dates, no locations - nuttin'. Please do NOT write to me or to CW Ltd asking for additional information! That's all the news there is right now, but we'll let you know as soon as we learn more.
